E.S.C.A.P.E. Summer Camp Completes 2nd Session with Awards Ceremony

The Entrepreneurship Summer Camp and Personal Enrichment (E.S.C.A.P.E.) program recently completed its second session of the summer. Ten high school students participated in the program, which educates and inspires tomorrow’s entrepreneurs by introducing them to business concepts and ethics in a fun and highly interactive educational environment. Campers learned about the process of starting a business and explored business plan formulation, marketing, management, finance and accounting, human resources, leadership and business etiquette.

Hosted and run by the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship’s International Institute for Franchise Education (IIFE), the program is open to high school students with a passion for business.

Campers worked on their business concepts during the week long session, with help and feedback from the program’s instructors and lecturers. The week concluded with camper presentations of their business plans to a panel of judges consisting of local business leaders and entrepreneurs. This session had an especially talented and creative group of teens with very interesting business ideas. Campers recognized for their business proposals and presentations included:
