Erin Black Named SSC Swimmer of the Week

Nova Southeastern junior Erin Black (Fort Myers, Fla.) has been named Sunshine State Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week for the period ending October 16.
Black led the Sharks to a 131-73 win at Saint Leo. Black won the 1,000-yard freestyle with an NCAA “B” qualifying time of 10:34.18. Her mark set a new program record in the 1,000-free and shattered her previous record of 10:41.91. Black also finished second with a time of 1:03.04 in the 100-yard backstroke. She joined the 200-yard freestyle relay team to claim first place with a time of 1:44.04. Complete Release
