Entrepreneurship Student to Compete in Statewide Business Plan Competition
Salvatore Salpietro, a current student enrolled in the M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship program at NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, will participate in a statewide business plan competition at the 2011 Early Stage Venture Capital Conference on October 5 in Orlando, Fla. Salvatore was selected by Huizenga Business School faculty members to represent NSU at the conference after competing against other Huizenga Business School students in an internal competition.
His business plan presentation is for ATM Universal Processors, LLC, a company within the electronic financial services market. The company offers business opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners through the purchase of an ATM Business Package. The package is a turnkey ATM operation that contains support similar to what one would find when purchasing a franchise, minus the franchise fee and royalties. Salvatore, who will graduate in spring 2012, is the president and founder of ATM Universal Processors, LLC.
In addition to the business plan competition, the full-day conference will include exhibits, guest speakers, and networking opportunities. The winner will be announced at a cocktail reception that evening. Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship Tom Tworoger, D.B.A., and Huizenga Business School Admissions Manager Brooke Evans will also attend the conference.
