Enrollment and Student Services Hosts 6th Annual Informational Summit

NSU colleagues gathered for information about Enrollment and Student Services (ESS) departments that impact students and affect daily University business.  The Informational Summit opening session was hosted by Stephanie G. Brown, Ed.D., vice president of Enrollment and Student Services (ESS), in the atrium of the Carl DeSantis building on August 1 and 2.

Sessions focused on undergraduate admissions and recruitment, financial aid, international affairs, and services offered through the Bursar, Registrar, One-Stop Shop, and Call Center  departments.  Thanks to the NSU Human Resources department, a new session on team building was facilitated by Maureen Simunek-Appelt, M.B.A. Lunch time provided sustenance and fellowship, as well as friendly competition for prizes during the sports trivia game that quizzed audience on their knowledge of NSU athletics and major league teams.  Newly approved and upcoming university policies were discussed during the end-of-day question and answer session with ESS leadership.

If you missed the Informational Summit and would like to view the topics covered, the PowerPoint presentations and handouts are available to all NSU employees through Blackboard in a course called “ESS Informational Summit.”
