Don’t Just Stand There – Audition for NSU Dance Productions, Sept. 7
If you think you can dance, prove it! The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will host open auditions for a variety of upcoming dance performances. All NSU students, faculty, and staff members are welcome to try out.
Fall Dance Auditions
Saturday, Sept. 7
3:00–6:00 p.m. | Arrive by 2:30 p.m.
Performance Theatre | Don Taft University Center
Selected dancers will perform in this year’s Dance Works production (Nov. 8–9) at NSU. Those auditioning may also have the opportunity to perform in additional events, such as National Water Dance and the Festival of Student Works in April 2014.
Arrive prepared and dressed to dance. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome. Auditions will be led by college dance faculty members and guest artists. Students selected to perform in productions may also earn academic credit (registration is optional).
Dance Majors and Minors
All undergraduate students interested in learning more about the dance major and minor are invited to attend an informational meeting prior to the audition. Faculty members will be on hand to answer questions about the programs.
