Discover Your Next Learning Destination During Travel Study Social, Nov. 9

After learning in a classroom all year, students may be ready for a change of scenery. Enter the Travel Study program. The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will host a Travel Study Social on Wednesday, Nov. 9, which will explore some of the travel study destinations and programs available through the college. The social will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Mailman-Hollywood Building, room 309.

Faculty members from the college will be on hand to discuss the following Travel Study Program destinations, many of which are revisited by the college every year.

Alaska—led by Paul Arena, Ph.D., assistant professor
Eastern Europe—led by Gary Gershman, J.D., Ph.D., associate professor
Ecuador—led by Barry Barker, Ed.D., associate professor
Galapagos Islands—led by Joshua Feingold, Ph.D., associate professor

Why Travel Study?
Some NSU students choose to participate in travel study trips to explore in-depth topics important to their majors. Others pursue travel study to satisfy a curiosity about another culture, learn another language, and experience new and completely different things.

The Travel Study Social is free and open to all students. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Paul Arena, Ph.D., at (954) 262-8335.
