DECA High School Students Attend Business Education Day at NSU
The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship hosted a Business Education Day on Thursday, Nov. 10 for a group of 54 students from Coral Springs Charter High School, who are members of the DECA organization. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Dena Hale, Ph.D., assistant professor of Marketing at the Huizenga Business School gave a mock-class lecture where she discussed decision-making skills that are part of the multi-attribute model, which is used in the sales and marketing curriculum to analyze buyer behavior.
In addition to the mock lecture, the DECA students were given an admissions presentation and a guided tour of the NSU campus.
