Dean’s List Lunch Honors Huizenga School Undergrads
More than 200 students were recognized on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at a luncheon and awards program in the Carl DeSantis Building. D. Michael Fields, Ph.D., dean of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, spoke to the students who took part in the Huizenga Business School’s semi-annual Dean’s List Lunch.
The luncheon provides Huizenga Business School faculty members, academic advisors and other administrative staff members the opportunity to congratulate and recognize the students for their academic accomplishments.
The 218 students who were recognized completed a minimum of 12 credits and earned a 3.5 GPA or above in the winter/spring semester. A core message Dean Fields communicated to the students is to differentiate themselves and, above all, apply their academic coursework in the business environment through internships to make themselves more attractive to future employers.
