Cross Country Teams Compete at the Cowboy Jamboree
On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Nova Southeastern men’s and women’s cross country teams completed day one of the Cowboy Jamboree, which was hosted by Oklahoma State.
The women competed in the 5k race with Alexandria Palm (Jr.,Winnebago, Ill.) leading the field of Sharks with a time of 19:12.62 that placed her 31st overall.
Peri Bowman (Jr.,Virginia Beach, Va.) was the next Shark to finish. She did so with a time of 20:01.80, which placed her 48th overall. Aimee Sims (So. St. Anne, Ill.), another top competitor for the Sharks, crossed the line with a time of 20:28.82. Click here to read the complete release.
