CPS Professor Presents at the 2010 Florida Annual Statewide Prevention Conference

Scott Poland, Ed.D., associate professor at the Center for Psychological Studies and the Director of the Suicide and Violence Prevention Office at NSU, recently presented two invited presentations at the 2010 Florida Annual Statewide Prevention Conference in Orlando. The Conference was sponsored by the Florida State Office of Drug and Suicide Prevention. Poland presented one session on self injury and co-presented a second session with Grace Carricarte, the Executive Director of the Ganley Foundation, on the topic of safeguarding Florida children and preventing tragedies.
