“Count Down to the Oscars” with a Special Hollywood Insider during FREE Event at NSU Library, Feb. 13

Root for your favorite films and learn how the Academy Awards came to be Hollywood’s most glamorous night during Count Down to the Oscars at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library.

The event on Sunday, Feb. 13 will be from 2-4 p.m. and includes an “Oscar, Does He Need a Makeover?” talk and screening of the film Mildred Pierce starring Joan Crawford.

This event is FREE and open to the public, and will feature Hollywood insider Ron Castell, formerly of Time Warner, Blockbuster Entertainment, and Spelling Entertainment Group. Castell is also chair of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

Count Down to the Oscars will be held in the Knight Auditorium of NSU’s Carl DeSantis Building, which is located on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave. in Davie.
