Congratulations to the 2012 Student Life Achievement Award Winners!
It was with great pleasure that the Division of Student Affairs introduced the 13th Annual Student Life Achievement Award winners (most commonly referred to as the STUEYS) on Thursday, Apr. 26. The event, which was well-attended, was held at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center where 28 students, faculty, staff, corporate partners and alumni were recognized for their contributions to building a greater sense of community and campus life.
For the first time in the history of the event, STUEYS was hosted by NSU students: Inna Dumova, Dashka Gabriel, Luis Perez and Alex Weiss. The STUEYS featured many surprises like the “Top 10 Things NSU Students Need to Know,” a “Shark Spotlight” and a live student jazz band on stage. A VIP Pre-Reception was held at the Carl DeSantis Atrium and a Post-Reception immediately followed the ceremony.
