Computer Sciences School features Robotic Building and Competition for Bring Your Child to Work Day

NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences held activities for the children of faculty and staff on Bring Your Child to Work Day, April 26. Activities included building a robot, a scavenger hunt, presentations of the children’s robots and completing a course competition.

Interim Dean Eric Ackerman, Ph.D., hopes the robotic activities stimulated an interest in engineering and technology and if one of these children goes on to become an engineer or scientist because of what they learned today, it was a success!
