Computer Sciences School Alum Speaks at CIO Council

Mauricio Angee, an alumnus of NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, was the guest speaker during the CIO Council Session on Aug. 25, which was offered by the South Florida CIO Council through the Internet Coast (iCoast.)

Angee discussed best practices in securing company data, navigating operational nightmares, asset/digital rights management, and success and horror stories.

The CIO Council is a forum for company’s IT leaders to network, discuss challenging topics, exchange success stories, and learn.

Angee is currently VP of Information Security at Mercantil Commerce Bank, one of the largest privately held banks in South Florida. He received his M.S. in Information Security from NSU in 2007.
