Computer Sciences School Alum Appointed CIO of Encompass Parts Distribution
Perry Patterson
Perry Patterson, an alumnus of NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Encompass Parts Distribution in Davie, Fla. on Mar. 8.
Patterson earned a master’s degree in Management Information Systems from NSU in 2005. With 30 years of experience in the information technology field, he most recently held the position of Vice President of e-commerce for Alliance Entertainment, where he supported such major retailers as Amazon, Best Buy and Target. Patterson initiated the company’s e-commerce division, developing it into a $150 million business unit, and led teams that worked with national retail clients to design, build and support websites and integrate technology to manage the fulfillment of goods sold online.
