Computer Sciences Doctoral Student Recipient of HIMSS South Florida Chapter Scholarship
Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences doctoral student, Mohammed Islam, is the recipient of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMMS) South Florida Chapter Scholarship. The scholarship provides a $5,000 cash award given by the HIMSS Foundation. In addition, Islam will receive complimentary registration and travel to the HIMSS12 Annual Conference & Exhibition. As a proud NSU student and award winner, Islam will be attending the conference on February 20 in Las Vegas, NV to receive his award.
Since 1986, The HIMSS Foundation annually awards scholarships to HIMSS student members who have achieved academic excellence and have the potential to be future leaders in the healthcare information and management systems industry. Scholarships were awarded to the student(s) deemed most deserving as determined by the HIMSS Foundation Scholarship Review Board.
