Computer & Information Sciences School Student Awarded HIMSS Scholarship
NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences’ doctoral candidate Brett Dunne-Feldman was recently awarded the HIMSS Central and Northern Florida Chapter Scholarship during the HIMSS Awards Banquet in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dunne-Feldman received one of the ten scholarships awarded annually by the HIMSS foundation to student members who have achieved academic excellence and have the potential to be future leaders in the healthcare information and management systems industry. HIMSS is a cause-based, not-for-profit organization exclusively focused on providing global leadership for the optimal use of information technology (IT) and management systems for the betterment of healthcare.
Dunne-Feldman is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in computer information systems and is an alumna of the master’s in computer information systems.
