Computer and Information Sciences School Student Publishes Book Chapter

Scott E. Hamm

Scott E. Hamm

Scott E. Hamm, doctoral student at NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, contributed to the book chapter, “A Mobile Pedagogy Approach for Transforming Learners and Faculty” in the recently released Handbook of Mobile Learning by Routledge. This book marks a compilation of research in the rapidly growing field of mobile learning and teaching.

As the fastest growing computing technology of the past fifty years, the accelerating use of mobile technologies outside education illustrates great promise for use inside education. The book chapter offers evidence-based practices and suggestions for effective implementation with higher education.

Hamm is the Director of Mobile Learning Research and Adjunct Faculty at Abilene Christian University. Hamm notes, “NSU’s doctoral program in Computing Technology in Education has contributed to my scholarship by integrating my ongoing research and coursework.”
