Computer and Information Sciences School Hosts TechConnect

The Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) recently hosted TechConnect, a networking event for the IT community in the Library Gallery, second floor of the Alvin Sherman Library. GSCIS students, staff, faculty, alumni and the IT community gathered to network and hear a presentation by Hugo Alvarez, chief technology officer at NSU, on  “IT in Higher Education and Where It Is Headed in the Business World.” Alvarez’s presentation highlighted the innovation of technology in higher education and in business.
