Computer and Information Sciences Doctoral Students Present at AECT Conference
Doctoral candidates in the computing technology education program at NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, presented during the Association for Educational Communications and Technology’s (AECT) International Convention on October 29-November 2 in Anaheim, CA.
Bruce Sowers presented two papers entitled, “An Investigation of Instruction Designer’s Decision Making in Higher Education” and “Using Skype and Skype Recorder to Collect Verbal and Non-Verbal Interview Data.” Trelisa Glazatov presented on “Applying the Component Display Theory to the Instructional Development and Design of an Educational Mobile Application.” Wendy Miao presented on “Designing for Statistical Reasoning and Thinking in Technology-Enhanced Learning Environments: Merrill’s First Principles and Real Data at Work.”
