Community Resolution Services Celebrates NSU and SHSS at Community Fest

Community Resolution Services (CRS) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) recently participated in NSU’s Community Fest. The CRS booth provided two activities for community members.

Th first activity participants were invited to spin a wheel and relate fun facts related to NSU and the 25th Anniversary of SHSS. The second activity invited participants to learn how to create origami pieces, instructions and origami papers was provided.  The students who worked on the CRS booth came from all three departments in SHSS: Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR), Family Therapy (DFT) and Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS). The students included Naz Ozaki, CRS Coordinator and Nekeisha Bascombe, Suzette Henry Campbell and Edwina Ward.

CRS is a practicum site for graduate students from the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) and students in the Master of Arts Program in Cross-Disciplinary Studies (MACS) in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS). CRS offers trainings and workshops, and other services to individuals, families, groups, and organizations.
