Committee for Best Practices in Online Learning to host Forum, Nov. 13

The NSU Committee for Best Practices in Online Learning invites faculty members to attend its forum on Tuesday Nov. 13. The forum will be held in the Carl DeSantis Building, rooms 3032/3034 on the main campus.

This year the agenda includes keynote speakers Deans Eric Ackerman and Marcie Rutherford from the Graduate School of Computer & Information Sciences and the College of Nursing respectively, to present their efforts, challenges and accomplishments related to online learning; as well as presentations from faculty members representing various NSU academic units.

During the forum faculty will have the opportunity to share research-based and applied topics related to effective use of online or technology-enhanced practices to support, educate, engage, and inspire students in a blended or online learning setting.

The forum is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a continental breakfast beginning at 8:00 am.  There will be a door prize drawing as concluding activity! Please see the agenda for Best Practice in Online Learning Fall 2012 Forum for more information.
