College of Pharmacy Students, Faculty, and Alumni Attend Florida Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting
Pharmacists are an integral part of the health care system, providing substantial care and improving patient’s quality of life. The Florida Pharmacy Association (FPA) strives to empower pharmacists, enhance their therapeutic knowledge, and equip them with practical tools that can be utilized in their various professions, as they make a difference in patient care. NSU’s College of Pharmacy (COP) students and faculty participated in this year’s FPA Annual Meeting and COP Alumni Reception held between June 30 and July 4 at Marco Island, Fla.
COP student attendees enjoyed many activities, including a game of Jeopardy played with all attending pharmacy schools. They represented the college during the FPA’s House of Delegates meeting and attended several program courses on important emerging issues in the field of pharmacy. The college also hosted a very well attended alumni reception, which provided guests with the opportunity to network amongst their colleagues and peers, current COP students and faculty, as well as family and friends.
