College of Pharmacy students Judith Alphonse, Sireesha Bellam, Marlene Fernandez, Anishka Gilbert and Lauren Roper coauthored a commentary “The FDA Funding Crisis” along with their advisors Robert Speth, Ph.D., and Antonia Zapantis, M.S., Pharm.D., B.C.P.S. The manuscript was refined from a poster presentation “Does the FDA Have Enough Funding?” which the students prepared for the annual College of Pharmacy Seminar Day this past April.  It was published online in the Journal of Pharmacy Technology in October 2013 (http://pmt.sagepub.com/content/early/2013/09/26/8755122513505224.full.pdf+html).
