College of Pharmacy Students Participate in Career Development Workshop
The NSU College of Pharmacy recently participated in the Florida Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists-Student Chapter (FSHP-SC) annual Curriculum Vitae (CV) Workshop. Twin events were held on NSU’s main and Palm Beach campuses. Pharmacy professionals from a variety of different settings were invited to review students’ CVs and provide fundamental tips on how to highlight their best attributes. There was a full house this year with nearly 90 students and 19 reviewers in attendance across both campuses.
The annual CV workshop is an excellent event offered to NSU College of Pharmacy students and serves as a tool to build students as professionals and pave the path for a successful pharmacy career. This important event offers our future pharmacists an opportunity to network with prospective employers and learn how to tailor their CV based on the career path they wish to pursue.
Pharmacy students recently had the opportunity to meet and have their CVs reviewed by practicing pharmacists.
