Valencia Daniela

NSU College of Pharmacy Palm Beach student Daniela Valencia has been accepted to participate in the Veteran’s Affairs Learning Opportunity Residency program at the West Palm Beach Veteran’s Administration (VA). Valencia was awarded one of two positions for which many other pharmacy students from the state of Florida had applied. The VALOR program gives outstanding students an opportunity to gain experience in clinical pharmacy at a VA healthcare facility. Valencia will be involved in didactic experiences, pharmacy based clinical conferences, and clinical practice with a pharmacist preceptor during the program.

Valencia was honored as the College of Pharmacy’s Student Pharmacist of the Month for March 2014 in recognition of her being an outstanding leader, exceptional peer mentor, exemplary representative of the college within her community involvement, and a remarkable student in academic excellence.
