College Of Pharmacy Hosting Metabolic Code Author, Nov. 6

IMG_7433NSU’s College of Pharmacy, along with COP’s two student leadership groups, Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHPs) and the National Community Pharmacist Association, will present world renowned author, industry consultant, and clinical practitioner in the field of natural therapeutics, James LaValle, R.Ph., C.C.N., N.D., on Monday, Nov. 6 from noon to 1 p.m. in Morris Auditorium in the College of Pharmacy.

This is an opportunity for those in the field to hear from a pharmacist and clinical nutritionist who is also an entrepreneur.

His bestselling book, Cracking the Metabolic Code offered a new approach to solving epidemics, which doctors face every day — heart disease, obesity, cancer and diabetes, and other debilitating chronic ailments including depression, arthritis, allergies, asthma and chronic fatigue syndrome. His

Metabolic Code, brings together nine key factors within every human body that are essential for a healthy body at every age. His code unlocks the secrets of nutritional choices that influence and stave off disease.

He is the founder of LaValle Metabolic Institute, an interdisciplinary medicine facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, which has served thousands of patients using his metabolic model for health.

LaValle has three decades of experience integrating natural therapies into various medical and business models and has trained physicians and other health care professionals on how to integrate natural therapies into their contemporary practices.

A truly interdisciplinary medical professional, James LaValle is an inspiring speaker.  There is no admission charge, and everyone is welcome.
