College of Pharmacy Expands Dean’s Ambassador Program
The College of Pharmacy (COP) was proud to celebrate the expansion of the Dean’s Ambassador Program to the Palm Beach Campus and Puerto Rico Regional Campus during its Induction Ceremony held via broadcast at each Campus on April 7, 2015. Selected based on their academic achievement, their Shark pride and commitment to excellence, the Dean’s Ambassador Program (founded in 2009 at the Davie-Ft. Lauderdale main campus) serves to further engage students in representing the COP and the University amongst alumni, preceptors, constituents, affiliated organizations, professional communities, and the public in general. Specifically, the Program focuses on further developing students’ professionalism through training and mentoring in leadership, networking, presentation and teamwork, as well as business protocol to better prepare them as future role models and leaders in healthcare. Ambassadors participate with alumni mentors at each campus to increase and better engage COP alumni allowing them a unique window to their roles as future alumni.
