College of Pharmacy Alum Named 2013 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists
Deborah Brown, M.S., Pharm.D.
Deborah Brown, M.S., Pharm.D., C.Ph., Class of 2000, was named a 2013 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Fellow under ASHP’s Practitioner Recognition Program. The ASHP Practitioner Recognition Program is intended to recognize excellence in pharmacy practice and promote public awareness of pharmacists who have distinguished themselves in practice. Brown was recognized at 2013 ASHP Summer Meeting in Minneapolis. She received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the Harrison School of Pharmacy in 1976, a M.S. in Management from Troy State University in 1995, and her Pharm.D from NSU in 2000. She currently serves as market director of pharmacy (Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas) for Cardinal Health Pharmacy Solutions. She serves on the ASHP Council on Pharmacy Management, ASHP PAC Advisory Council, ASHP delegate, and actively participates in the support of the ASHP Foundation.
