Children Celebrate Summer with Music and Dance at NSU’s Library
This summer, children have been beating the heat with music and dance programs at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. On June 24, Silly Stories with The Shermanettes presented special guest musician Matthew Sabatella, who was named Best Acoustic Performer by the New Times Broward/Palm Beach. He performed classic American songs.
On June 26, Fantasy Factory Theater performed their hilarious Fantasy Soup Show – with skits from books by classic children’s author Dr. Seuss and The Stinky Cheese Man by Jon Scieszka, who is a National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
Didn’t make it to these fun programs? Don’t worry – there’s plenty of singing and dancing at Silly Stories and Songs with the Kids Crown Award Winning Shermanettes every Thursday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. this summer.
