Cheerleading Aids Harvest Drive Community Fun Day
The Nova Southeastern University cheerleaders squad gave a helping hand to the Fifth Annual Harvest Drive Community Fun Day at the Weston Town Center. The cheerleaders came out with several non-perishable food items to donate to the event’s food drive. The cheerleaders also helped sort through all of the items in conjunction with the Broward County Fire Department. During the event, cheerleading spent time with the youth of Weston and taught them several NSU cheers.
The cheerleaders squad aimed to fulfill one of NSU’s core values: Community. The Sharks used the event to connect with the community of Weston and promote NSU’s philosophy while also contributing to the team’s service initiative.
