Chartwells welcomes New Staff Member

As the campus dining program at Nova Southeastern University continues to grow, the need for additional support is crucial. In partnership with business services, we recently embarked on a lengthy search for a Director of Operations and I am pleased to announce that after several months this search has come to a close.  Gary Stellges began his duties with Shark Dining (Chartwells) at NSU on Monday, August 3, 2015.

With over 15 years of higher education contract food management experience, Gary brings with him a wealth of knowledge and insight having worked every possible role in the industry. Beginning his career as a student manager with ARAMARK at the University of Central Florida, Gary was flexible in wanting to learn all facets of the business. He escalated his career in becoming a Catering Director with the University of South Florida and then the Food Service Director with Florida College. In 2009, Gary returned to his alma mater as the Director of Operations and South Region Labor Champion for almost 4 years before becoming the Senior Director of Food Service at Florida Gulf Coast University. His engaging management style and operational and financial abilities will make him a wonderful asset to the Shark Dining team.  With this added support we will be able to take the campus dining program to the next level in serving the NSU community.

Please join me in welcoming Gary to Chartwells at Nova Southeastern University!
