Ceremony Recognizes Scholarship Recipients, Donors

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences hosted a ceremony and reception at NSU on Apr. 26 honoring undergraduate students who earned a variety of memorial and recognition scholarships offered by the college and NSU.

On hand to congratulate the student award recipients were friends and family members, scholarship donors, and faculty and staff members from the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, including Don Rosenblum, Ph.D., dean of the college, who provided welcoming remarks at the ceremony.

Students receiving the following scholarships were recognized during the event:

—Alvin Sherman Family Assistance Scholarship, Alvin Sherman Family Scholarship
—Changing Lives Scholarships: Carisam-Samuel Meisel, Danny Carter, Madden Family, Quirin Foundation, and South Florida First Generation
—Ellen Dix Thompson Living Legacy Scholarship
—James and Nan Farquhar Performing Arts Grant
—Jennifer Reem Scholarship
—Stolzenberg-Doan Scholarship
