Take Center Stage at NSU: Audition for Upcoming NSU Theatre Productions, Jan. 14
Calling aspiring actors and stage technicians: here’s your chance to take center stage at NSU! The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will be hosting auditions on Jan. 14 for two April stage productions: Twelfth Night, or What You Will and the annual Festival of Student Works.
Auditions and interviews will be held in the Black Box Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center from 4 – 7 p.m. Actors (non-singers) must prepare a classic monologue, such as Shakespeare or Molière, for their audition. Technicians will be interviewed by division faculty and staff members.
Auditions and interviews are open to all NSU students, faculty, and staff members. No experience necessary. For more information, please contact Mark Duncan, M.F.A., associate professor and assistant director of the college’s Division of Performing and Visual Arts, at 954-262-8094.
