Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Opens Community Resource Room
The UM-NSU CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities) based at NSU is opening its CARD Resource Room for parents and caregivers to visit and check out material about autism.
The CARD Resource Room will be open every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Resources that will be available to the community include books, brochures, videos and much more.
Visit Room 238 on the 2nd floor of the clinic, located at 6100 Griffin Road in Davie.

The UM-NSU CARD provides free services for more than 5,500 families throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties. Services include family support, technical assistance and consultation, parent and professional training programs, and public education activities.
The center also supports research in a variety of disciplines to better understand the causes and potential treatments for the disorder.
