Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Hosts Spring “Insync with Autism” Concert, Apr. 29

The UM-NSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) is hosting a spring “InSync with Autism” Concert on Sunday, April 29 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at New Horizon Methodist Church, 5741 S. Flamingo Road in Southwest Ranches.

The concert will feature the Florida Youth Orchestra Jazz Ensemble, and the Percussion Ensemble “Drum Along with Roy” from Arts Alive Performing Arts School. For more information, or to RSVP, please visit http://insyncwithautismaspring.eventbrite.com/

The UM-NSU CARD, based at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler School of Education, currently serves more than 5,000 families in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe. It provides free family support, outreach, and educational support services to children and adults of all levels of intellectual functioning who have autism and autistic-like disabilities. In operation since 1993, the UM-NSU CARD is a Florida Department of Education project funded by an appropriation from the state legislature.
