Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Hosts “Issues in Autism Conference”, April 6
The UM-NSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD) in partnership with Effective Programs for Students with Autism (PEPSA) will host a regional “Issues in Autism Conference” on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Nova Southeastern University in the HPD Building’s Hull Auditorium (Room #2105).
This free training is for educators working with students with high functioning autism or asperger’s syndrome in a general education environment. Parents are also welcome to attend.
The workshop will focus on incorporating social learning concepts throughout the school day. BCBA CEU’s and ASHA CEU’s are available for free.
