Celebrate Student Creativity at the Digressions Launch Party
The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will celebrate the launch of the 2010 issue of Digressions, the student-run literary magazine produced by the college’s Division of Humanities. The event will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Alvin Sherman Library, second-floor gallery.
Digressions‘ undergraduate contributors and staff will debut the issue by reading selections of poetry and short fiction from the magazine. Photographs and paintings from the issue also will be on display in the gallery.
Prizes will be awarded for the strongest submission in each category, including poetry, short fiction, and visual arts. Following the launch party, there will be a reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., in room 2053. Refreshments will be served.
