Celebrate the Holiday Season with Annual PEACE Concert, Dec. 2

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will continue its Premier Series with PEACE: A Holiday Concert on Friday, Dec. 2, at 6:00 and 8:30 p.m. in the Performance Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center.

This annual evening of holiday music offers something for everyone— featuring performances by the Bossa Nova Chorale and NSU Vocal Ensemble, as well as soloists and small ensembles from the Division of Performing and Visual Arts.

Anticipated arrangements include classic seasonal songs such as “Hanukkah Lights,” “Mele Kalikimaka,” and “White Christmas.” The concert will culminate in the performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s “Gloria,” a Baroque masterpiece and audience favorite.

Admission to PEACE: A Holiday Concert is free, but tickets are required. To reserve seats, call (954) 262-8179 or email nsutheatre@nova.edu.

Each year, the college’s Division of Performing and Visual Arts presents outstanding theatrical, musical, dance, and visual arts productions. These performances and events serve as co-curricular opportunities for students to gain practical experience and provide the NSU community with a local resource for educational—and entertaining—performing and visual arts presentations.
