Black History Month concludes with 7th Annual Carrie P. Meek Awards, Feb. 28
NSU’s celebration of Black History concludes on Thursday, Feb. 28 with the 7th Annual Carrie P. Meek Outstanding Education Leadership Achievement Award Ceremony.
This event recognizes and celebrates the contributions of individuals who positively impact those of black heritage and promotes higher education through the Fischler School of Education. The keynote speaker is Henry Brown, Ed.D., who has been recognized statewide as “Teacher of the Year.” Time & Location: 6:00 pm at the Signature Grand in Davie. Sponsored by the Abraham S.
