The Citizens Academy is an eight-week intensive, interactive class specifically designed to educate civilians about the inner working, roles and responsibilities of the FBI Agency. It’s designed to demonstrate how local communities and citizens play a key role in the Agency’s successful operation.
The curriculum included topics such as white collar crimes, cyber-crime, terrorism, counter terrorism, intelligence, counter intelligence, defense tactics, polygraph analysis, fingerprints, forensic, FBI Special Agents (SA) training, evidence response analysis, violent crimes, deadly force, Fourth amendment, SWAT operations and firearms training.
As an official member of the FBI’s Miami Field Office Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Dr. Levy has been asked to participate in the FBI Forensics and Intelligence Lab Program for Youth, assisting the FBI agents when high school students come to learn more about their forensics and intelligence operations.
Dr. Levy commented, “I’m confident that our college’s strong relationship with the FBI Miami Field Office will continue for many years to come”.
