CAHSS to Host Guest Art Show “Self-Discovery” Featuring Kyoto Matsuyama, Oct. 27
The Department of Performing and Visual Arts in NSU’s College of Art, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) will host a guest art show titled, “Self-Discovery,” featuring artist Kyoto Matsuyama. The exhibition will be held in Gallery 217, located in the Performing and Visual Arts wing of the Don Taft University Center on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale-Davie Campus.
Japanese artist Kyoto Matsuyama’s fiber and glass work pieces create social statements encouraging people to be mindful and to live in the present moment.
You are invited to meet the artist at the opening reception scheduled for Tuesday, October 27 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in Gallery 217. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibition will be on display through November 30, 2015. For more information please call 954-262-7632.
