CAHSS Student Publishes in NASA book, International Space Station—Benefits for Humanity

Kathleen Watkins-Richardson, M.B.A.

Kathleen Watkins-Richardson, M.B.A., a doctoral student in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), has co-authored a chapter in NASA’s new book International Space Station—Benefits for Humanity. Her chapter “The Economic Development of Space” covers topics such as water production in space, commercialization of low earth orbit and innovative public-private partnerships for ISS cargo services.

Watkins-Richardson received her M.B.A. from Pace University. She has an extensive professional background as the director of Strategic Planning and Communication for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as a senior business consultant/program manager for Analytical Services, Inc., and as the owner of Donrich Research, Inc., a consulting business in aerospace, defense and general industry.
