CAHSS Student Awarded First Place in 2017 Palm Beach International Film Festival Poster Competition
Lacei Sams, a senior Graphic Design minor in the Department of Performing and Visual Arts (DPVA) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) was awarded First Place in the 2017 Palm Beach International Film Festival Poster Competition. Her poster will be used for promotional purposes for the 2018 film festival. Sams was also awarded $500 for her accomplishment.
This is the second consecutive year that a CAHSS graphic design student was awarded First Place in the poster competition. In 2016, Bailey Glazer received top honors. Tennille Shuster, M.F.A., DPVA faculty said, “It’s great to see our students recognized for their talent and hard work!”
