CAHSS Professor Presents on Tai Chi Ch’uan
Douglas Flemons, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), presented “The Left Hand (and Right Foot) of Tai Chi Ch’uan: An Embodied Understanding of Ursula LeGuin’s Taoist Inspirations,” at the Pembroke Pines Library and at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. The presentations were a part of The Big Read, a community-wide reading project that has been exploring A Wizard of Earthsea, a popular fantasy novel.
