CAHSS Invites You to the Social Justice Round Table Discussion: “Talking Circle on Inclusion and Diversity”
The Social Justice Roundtable in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) will host a “Talking Circle on Inclusion and Diversity.” The Social Justice Roundtable (SJR) provides a means to examine and discuss topics related to human rights and social justice.
The roundtable is symbolic of our desire to invite everyone to the table as colleagues, with a respect for differences and diversity, and as equal participants for lively discussion. This is being held during CAHSS’ Winter Residential Institute (RI). During the last RI, the topic of Inclusion and Diversity was featured by the SJI. They requested the selection of this topic for the upcoming session.
The event will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Maltz Building on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale-Davie campus. All NSU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend and participate. For further information, please contact Judith McKay, J.D., Ph.D., SJR faculty advisor at mckayj@nova.edu or 954-262-3060.
