CAHSS Invites You to Dance Awareness Day, RSVP by Oct. 28

NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) is delighted to invite you to Dance Awareness Day (DAD). Dance Awareness Day will offer free dances classes for the community with NSU Dance Associate Professors Elana Lanczi, M.F.A., and Augusto Soledade, M.F.A from the Department of Performing and Visual Arts. The event will also feature special guest teachers.
Classes will be offered on November 2 from 8:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. in a variety of styles including Modern, Jazz, Afro-Brazilian, Composition, Dance Improvisation, and more! There will be an open Q&A session with faculty and guests starting at 1:30 p.m.
Dance Awareness Day is take place in the Performance Theatre in the Don Taft University Center on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie campus. This is a free event, but space is limited and participants must RSVP by October 28.
