CAHSS Hosts Meetings for Mock Trial and for Students Interested in Law School, Sept. 29
NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) will host three meetings for undergraduate students interested in joining the NSU Mock Trial Team, and for those students interested in law school.
“Applying to Law School” information seminar it is free and open to all students. During this first meeting, former NSU undergraduates who are in law school will answer questions about law school and the application process. Faculty members Timothy Dixon, J.D., and G. Nelson Bass, J.D., Ph.D., from the Department of History and Political Science will also answer questions about applying to and succeeding in law school. The seminar will be held 5:30-7:00 pm in the Parker Building, room 256. On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Admissions Dean of the NSU College of Law will appear to speak with students about law school and the admissions process. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, in room 256 of the Parker Building.
There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining the NSU Mock Trial team. Information on team meetings, the competition and the year’s trial scenario will be discussed. The team is open to all undergraduate students. The meeting will be held 12:15-12:45 pm in the Parker building, room 301.
