CAHSS Faculty receive a Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Grant

The Department of Performing and Visual Arts (DPVA) in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) has been awarded a Florida Breast Cancer Foundation grant totaling $43,899. The project will provide education and empowerment to young women in becoming proactive and aware of their breast health through educational performances and artistic and educational publications. DPVA will develop a breast cancer awareness program specifically for middle school, high school and college students. The Principal Investigators are Bill Adams, D.M.A., and Mark Duncan, M.F.A.
