CAHSS Faculty Publishes Book on Mediation

Alexia Georgakopoulos, Ph.D

Alexia Georgakopoulos, Ph.D., faculty in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), edited the book “The Mediation Handbook: Theory, Research and Practice.” The book focuses on ways that mediation can be applied to a multitude of contexts, relationships, and intercultural conflicts. CAHSS alumni and faculty contributed chapters, as did other experts.

In addition to Georgakopoulos, other CAHSS faculty contributed chapters including Neil Katz, Ph. D.; Robin Cooper, Ph.D.; Cheryl Duckworth, Ph.D.; and Tommie Boyd, Ph.D. Georgakopoulos is an associate professor in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) and teaches courses such as mediation and facilitation.
